Our journey begins with a relaxed, no obligation consultation where we can get to know each other and see if we're the right fit.

During this meeting we will:

• Get to know one another and discuss your hopes for your birth.
• Talk about how I can best support you and your family.
• Explore the doula packages I offer.
• Go through the booking process and answer any questions you may have.

Antenatal Support

During pregnancy, we'll work together to prepare for a positive and empowering birth experience.

This includes:

• Creating a personalised birth plan.
• Discussing your birth preferences and how I can support you and your birth team.
• Talking through any fears or concerns about pregnancy, birth, or postpartum.
• Exploring previous birth experiences and working through any trauma or worries.
• Meeting your birth partner and support team so everyone feels informed and prepared.
• Attending antenatal appointments with you if you would like additional support.
• Discussing helpful resources, comfort measures, and any equipment you may wish to use during labour.

Labour, Birth, and the Golden Hour

As your Bundaberg and Bargara birth doula, I provide continuous support throughout your labour, birth, and those precious first moments with your baby.

Support includes:

• Continuous emotional and physical support throughout labour.
• Guidance for your birth partner so they feel confident supporting you.
• Comfort techniques including breathing, movement, massage, positioning, and relaxation.
• Encouragement to help you feel calm, informed, and empowered.
• Advocacy if you feel your wishes are not being heard.
• Candid photos and videos to capture special moments.
• Protecting your Golden Hour whenever medically appropriate.
• Support with establishing breastfeeding.
• Helping tidy your birth space before I leave.

Postpartum Support

My care continues after your baby arrives, helping you settle into this new chapter with confidence.

Support may include:

• Birth debriefing and emotional support.
• Breastfeeding guidance.
• Newborn care support.
• Practical help as you adjust to life with your baby.
• Encouragement and reassurance for you and your partner during the early weeks of parenthood.
