Antenatal

- More in depth talk about your plan for your birth and how I can best support you and your birthing team.

- Create a birth plan together that outline your ideal birth.

- Talk about any additional services and equipment you may need.

- Go through any fears or concerns you may have in pregnancy, labour, birth or postpartum.

- Go through any previous births and any trauma that may be attached to them and figure out what can be done differently.

- Meet your birth partner and anyone else in your birth team so we can discuss your plan and make sure everyone is on the same page.

- Can attend any antenatal appointments with you if you would like me to be there as support.

Labour, Birth & Golden Hour

- Support you during your labour and birth according to your birthing plan.

- Guide your support team during your labour with the best way to help you.

- Suggest different positions during labour to help optimise babies path to the world.

- Provide different techniques for pain relief. 

- Guide you with breathing and relaxation techniques.

- Massage and aromatherapy.

- Help your partner and/or family in helping you with any needs you may have.

- Advocate for you if it is ever needed or if you feel like your needs are not being met or birth plan not being followed.

- Capture candid photos and videos.

- Protect the Golden Hour after the baby is born from unnecessary procedures, interruptions and people unless medically necessary.
Support in establishing breastfeeding.
Clean up after the birth.

Postnatal

- Debrief and talk through emotions (the good and bad) from your birth.

- Support with any breastfeeding issues.

- Support with any issues you or partner may have around being new (new again) parents.
